Account Deletion

You can delete your account and associated data directly from within the Aura Tarot app by navigating to Settings -> Delete Account. If you cannot access the app, use the account deletion instructions on this page or email us from the address associated with your account.

This page explains how Aura Tarot users can request deletion of their account and associated app data.

Delete your account in the app

Open Aura Tarot and go to Settings -> Delete Account. This is the fastest way to delete your account.

Request deletion without the app

If you cannot access the app, send an account deletion request to support.cosmolabs@gmail.com from the email address associated with your Aura Tarot account.

Include the phrase Account deletion request in your message. If you used guest sign-in and do not have an email address on the account, include any details that can help us identify the account, such as your device platform and approximate account creation date.

What data is deleted

  • Authentication account records tied to your Aura Tarot account.
  • Backend account metadata, usage counters, reading event metadata, and subscription entitlement records tied to the account.
  • Locally saved readings and local profile data when deletion is completed from inside the app.

What may be retained

Some transaction records, fraud-prevention records, crash logs, or records required for legal, tax, billing, security, or dispute-resolution purposes may be retained for the period required by law or platform policy.

Processing time

In-app deletion is processed immediately when the request succeeds. Email deletion requests are reviewed and processed as soon as reasonably possible after account ownership is verified.

Aura Tarot is a tarot reading and personal reflection app. This policy explains what data the app collects, why it is used, and how users can request deletion.

1. Information We Collect

Aura Tarot may collect the following data when you use the app:

  • Account information: If you sign in with Google or email, our secure authentication providers manage your user ID and email address. Guest users are assigned an anonymous user ID.
  • App usage and reading metadata: We store limited usage counters and event metadata, such as reading mode, language, topic, card count, whether a reading was a continuation, and daily AI usage totals in our secure cloud database.
  • AI prompts, personalization context, and generated content: Text you submit for AI readings, selected cards, spread context, and active personalization preferences may be sent to our backend and then to our AI processing partners to generate the requested reading. We do not store full prompt or generated reading content in our databases. Saved readings are stored strictly locally on your device.
  • Personalization and Premium memory: Gold/Premium personalization may include optional display name, reading tone, focus areas, response depth, and Premium memory settings. We do not request birth date or zodiac sign. When the app language is Japanese, users may optionally select a blood type for Japan-specific cultural/personality personalization only; it is not used for medical, health, or deterministic claims. Premium cloud memory is opt-in and stores only short summary insights, dominant topics, recurring cards, and monthly energy reports, not full chats.
  • Purchase and Subscription Data: If you purchase a premium subscription, we use secure subscription management services to manage your subscription status. These services may collect purchase history, device identifiers, and receipt data to validate and unlock premium features.
  • Crash and diagnostics data: Crash reporting tools may collect crash logs, device information, app version, and diagnostic data to help us fix stability issues.
  • Advertising data: Advertising partners may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data to show and measure ads, subject to their policies and your device settings.
  • Local profile data: Saved readings, language preference, and optional profile settings are stored locally on your device using local storage.

2. How We Use Information

We use data to:

  • authenticate users and keep account state secure;
  • generate AI tarot readings requested by the user;
  • personalize readings, membership features, Premium memory, and monthly energy reports when enabled by the user;
  • provide Japan-specific cultural personalization if a Japanese-language user optionally selects a blood type;
  • manage in-app purchases, validate subscriptions, and grant premium access;
  • enforce fair usage limits and rules;
  • improve app quality, stability, and performance;
  • show and measure ads;
  • provide local saved readings and preferences;
  • allow users to disable and delete Premium memory.

3. Third-Party Services

Aura Tarot uses industry-standard third-party services for Authentication, Analytics & Diagnostics, Subscription Management, Cloud Infrastructure, AI Services, and Advertising. These services may process data according to their own terms and privacy policies.

4. Data Sharing & Deletion

We do not sell user data. Users can delete their account directly from the app settings. Account deletion removes your authentication account and backend cloud database records tied to that account, including personalization preferences, Premium memory summaries, and monthly energy reports. Local saved readings and profile data on the device are also cleared by the app. Premium memory can also be disabled or deleted separately from inside the app. For help, contact support.cosmolabs@gmail.com.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Aura Tarot, these terms will automatically apply to you. You should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app. You’re not allowed to copy or modify the app, any part of the app, or our trademarks in any way.

2. App Usage and Purpose

Aura Tarot provides AI-generated tarot readings for entertainment and personal reflection purposes only. The app does not provide medical, financial, legal, psychological, or other professional advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, relevance, or applicability of any readings generated.

3. Subscriptions and Premium Features

Aura Tarot offers Silver/Gold/Premium features through auto-renewing subscriptions and in-app purchases. Paid features may include AI usage limits, ad-free experience, personalization, advanced spreads, opt-in Premium memory, and monthly energy reports. Payments will be charged to your Google Play or App Store account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings in the respective app store after purchase.

4. User Accounts

You may use the app as a guest or create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our terms or attempt to abuse the app's systems.

5. Changes to the App

We are committed to ensuring that the app is as useful and efficient as possible. For that reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the app or to charge for its services, at any time and for any reason. We will never charge you for the app or its services without making it very clear to you exactly what you’re paying for.
